A WORD FROM AFAC – Communication

2018 has got off to a flying start for AFAC and its members. On the 6th February, the day of the first French race of the season, they reunited at Pau racecourse. This race was also the first of 11 legs of the Wathba Stallions Cup. This circuit aims to open up opportunities to a large base of French breeders. However, the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the French industry continues. On this note, at the H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Awards, the 6th April at Hollywood, the women who work daily in our industry will be honoured.  The list of the eight French nominees was recently release. In February, the members of AFAC received the first edition of The Arabian Yearbook. Purebred Arabian racing in France is an industry of excellence, and we wish to celebrate this in the best possible way. The Yearbook is a retrospective of the 2017 season in France. It highlight the successes of the people within the industry. This book, bilingual, is a wonderful promotional tool. During the Emir’s Sword Festival at Doha, AFAC was represented by our Secretary, Jean-Paul Larrieu, who distributed the Yearbook at this prestigious race meeting, which is particularly important in the Gulf countries. On the racetrack at Doha, French breeding was once again distinguished, especially with the "FR" Al Mouzdaher (Hassan Mousli), Caid de L'Ardus (Philippe Meunier) and Easter de Faust (Jean-Paul and Gérard Larrieu).
